Agricultural Awareness
Through our meetings with farmers who use intensive agricultural methods, we took a step further and developed our technologies to the next level by constructing them more suitable and benefitial for field and practical usage.

Biochemical Technology
We have developed a hydrogel that can hold 300 times its own weight in water while increasing plant productivity. In our experiments, we conducted a drought simulation and observed a 50% increase in soil moisture when we used the hydrogel. Our hydrogels retained excess water and reduced the amount of irrigation needed for the soil. With our hydrogel, we aim to reduce irrigation in agriculture, where 70% of freshwater is used, and help make our water use more sustainable.

Social Awareness
As a part of our awareness project, we made presentations about the water crisis to more than 1000+ high school and secondary school students and encouraged the young population to be active in environmental awareness. Also, as for now, our schedule is full of seminars in different high schools, one of which is an agricultural one. We placed our smart brochures all over the city, emphasizing the importance of water in Istanbul. We organized an inter-primary school painting competition so that little minds were not left out of all this.
